About Me

I'm Weston and I'm a Christian husband, father, senior minister of the Bowling Green Christian Church,  cub scout leader, enthusiastic fan at my kids' sporting events, and an adjunct religion professor at SKY CTC.

My life is dedicated to helping equip Christ followers and encourage their leaders (Ephesians 4:11-13) grow God's kingdom (Matthew 28:19-20), by living spiritually minded (2 Corinthians 5:15-18) lives of conviction and compassion (1 John 3:23), while I attempt to do the same (1 Corinthians 9:24-27).

This blog is dedicated to providing thoughtful, inspiring, and helpful resources for those who want to live a life of faith. I use it to promote further thought and application from Sunday's sermon. In addition to a weekly sermon post I also will post weekly encouragement for those aspiring to be faithful in leadership (just like me). This post might be humorous or provoking, a confession or a recommendation, but I pray it challenges you to thoughtfully live out your faith with conviction and compassion.

I would encourage you to subscribe to "A Word From Weston" so you never miss a post. Don't worry, I won't fill your box with junk, just an update on Thursday to let you know what's been happening on the blog.
